Omar is a passionate chef who brings the dishes and spices of Morocco where ever he goes. He provides catering for small parties and large events, as well as cooking courses and pop-up stalls. His grandmother, Fatimah gave Omar his first introduction into the whole process of food, from the ingredients and different techniques to the harvest, along with many other cultural aspects of life. This allowed Omar to see how planting a seed can lead to a dish on your plate. Inheriting these skills and knowledge have influenced Omar’s use of flavours, ingredients and spices. Along with his grandmother both his mother, Zahara, and father, Mohammed, were gifted cooks. In a family where every member was a keen chef Omar was inspired to learn, cook and bring his knowledge, skills and flavours to new horizons.
